In order to adhere to the policy of safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management, and with the purpose of educating employees, improving their safety awareness, and enhancing emergency response capabilities for safety accidents, the company organized an emergency drill for a special equipment forklift collision accident on the afternoon of November 14, in accordance with the annual safety production activity plan of Changniu Machinery.

On the afternoon of November 16, Changniu Machinery organized and held the 2022 Environmental and Quality Management System Management Review Meeting. The purpose of this meeting was to conduct a management review based on the company’s system requirements and the 2022 performance results, summarize achievements and existing shortcomings, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure continuous improvement of the management system. The meeting was chaired by General Manager Sun Hao and attended by deputy general managers, department heads, and workshop directors.

In order to thoroughly study and understand the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and ensure its full and effective implementation in all work practices, the Party Branch of Changniu Machinery held a branch meeting on the afternoon of November 3, 2022. The Party Branch Secretary of the company, Sun Hao, delivered a Party lecture on studying, promoting, and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress. Some Party members shared their learning experiences and reflections at the meeting.

In order to vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship across society, and to further give full play to the backbone role of workers in the city’s modernization drive, the Changzhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions decided to select a number of advanced collectives and individuals on the eve of the 2021 “May 1st” International Labor Day, awarding them the Changzhou May 1st Labor Award and the Changzhou Worker Pioneer designation respectively. On April 26, 2021, Changzhou held a celebration meeting for the “May 1st” International Labor Day. At the meeting, the selected municipal May 1st Labor Medals (and Awards), Worker Pioneer posts, and Top 10 Civilized Workers were commended. Comrade Chen Baohui from Changniu Machinery was awarded the 2021 Changzhou May 1st Labor Medal and was recognized at the meeting.

To implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and welcome a good start to the “14th Five-Year Plan,” showcase the achievements of the Yangtze River ecological protection, enrich the spiritual and cultural life of employees, and fully demonstrate the positive, healthy, and uplifting spirit of employees in Xinbei District. The Xinbei District Federation of Trade Unions organized the “Celebrating the Centenary, Exploring Yangtze River Culture, and Moving Toward Happiness” green fitness walking activity.

As labor costs continue to rise, adopting automated production, reducing labor-intensive processes, and increasing technological content have become an inevitable development path. In recent years, Changniu Machinery has increased its investment in automation upgrades. By replacing manual labor with machines, the company promotes transformation and development, effectively improving production efficiency, enhancing product quality, and reducing labor costs.

On March 28, the truss equipment of the crankshaft balancing shaft automated production line technical upgrade project was delivered to the company for installation. After several days of debugging by the manufacturer and trial production in the workshop, the equipment has now basically met technical and production requirements. The working principle of the truss equipment is as follows: the robotic arm moves to the loading conveyor position to pick up raw materials, then moves to the milling and drilling machine. The unloading gripper removes the processed part, while the loading gripper installs the blank workpiece. After exiting the milling machine, the robotic arm transfers the finished part to the unloading conveyor, and this cycle repeats continuously.

Recently it has been learned that, benefiting from the continued strong production and sales momentum of Changchai, Changben Company has been operating at full capacity since the beginning of this year. With unified effort across the company, all teams are working at full strength to meet order demand. According to statistics, from January to February 2021, sales revenue achieved significant growth, continuing the positive development trend from last year.

Looking back at last year, under the complex domestic and international environment shaped by the global COVID-19 pandemic and uncertain economic conditions, food security became a top priority for ensuring people's livelihood. As a leading enterprise in China’s small diesel engine industry, Changchai encountered new development opportunities. During the sustained peak production period, Changben Company closely followed Changchai’s annual business objectives, strengthened epidemic prevention and control, fully utilized production resources, actively organized production, expanded capacity, and adopted multiple measures to ensure output, fully guaranteeing Changchai’s demand.
