In order to adhere to the policy of safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management, and with the purpose of educating employees, improving their safety awareness, and enhancing emergency response capabilities for safety accidents, the company organized an emergency drill for a special equipment forklift collision accident on the afternoon of November 14, in accordance with the annual safety production activity plan of Changniu Machinery.
The emergency drill was led by the General Manager as the overall commander. A pre-drill briefing was first conducted for all participants, clearly defining the responsibilities of each emergency response team. The General Manager explained in detail how emergency rescue should be carried out in the event of a fire or safety accident, as well as methods for environmental protection and casualty handling.
The drill then officially began. According to the scenario, a forklift in the production workshop accidentally struck a person during a turning maneuver due to a blind spot and improper handling during cargo transportation. After the accident occurred, the forklift driver promptly reported the incident. The company leadership immediately activated the emergency response plan. Each emergency team quickly took up their assigned positions and carried out their respective duties. Based on the condition and severity of the injured person, appropriate emergency measures were taken, the site was evacuated of unrelated personnel, and rescue operations were promptly initiated. The entire drill process was well-organized and orderly. All employees experienced the scenario firsthand and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of safety first, prevention-oriented management, and comprehensive governance.
After the drill, the General Manager summarized the exercise, emphasizing the importance of safety production. He required all employees to constantly maintain strong safety awareness, strictly implement the full responsibility system for safety production, proactively identify potential safety hazards in daily work, learn from incidents through reflection, and report and rectify issues in a timely manner to ensure the company operates in a safe and stable environment.
Through this emergency drill, the responsibilities and tasks of the company’s emergency rescue teams were further clarified, the emergency response mechanism was improved, and employees’ safety awareness and ability for self-rescue and mutual rescue in response to sudden incidents were enhanced. This ensured that the emergency drill was effectively implemented and achieved the expected results.
