On the afternoon of November 16, Changniu Machinery organized and held the 2022 Environmental and Quality Management System Management Review Meeting. The purpose of this meeting was to conduct a management review based on the company’s system requirements and the 2022 performance results, summarize achievements and existing shortcomings, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure continuous improvement of the management system. The meeting was chaired by General Manager Sun Hao and attended by deputy general managers, department heads, and workshop directors.
At the meeting, General Manager Sun Hao reported on the completion status of the 2022 environmental and quality policies, objectives, and regulatory compliance. Each deputy general manager reported on the progress of technical transformation projects in 2022 and the plans for 2023. Departments and workshops respectively reported their 2022 performance, 2023 work plans, and improvement suggestions. Management representatives summarized the operation status of the company’s environmental and quality management system in 2022, identified existing deficiencies, and put forward requirements for the 2023 environmental and quality management system.
General Manager Sun Hao stated that the 2022 environmental and quality management system operation was compliant, appropriate, and effective, and that the targets and indicators were basically achieved. Due to factors such as market conditions, rising raw material prices, and increased electricity costs, the company’s operating performance declined compared with the previous year. However, through the joint efforts of all cadres and employees, the company achieved certain results in cost reduction, quality improvement, technical transformation, and external business development. At the same time, it is necessary to remain clearly aware of existing shortcomings. All employees must continuously improve in production, operations, quality, and environmental protection, adopt innovative thinking, and apply new processes, methods, and equipment to continuously improve product quality and corporate image, seize opportunities, and ensure healthy and sustainable development of the company.
Finally, General Manager Sun Hao made the following requirements: (1) improve process consistency in production and strengthen process execution to ensure product quality consistency; (2) continuously carry out quality improvement projects to enhance product quality; (3) incorporate external business quality into performance evaluation indicators to improve customer satisfaction; (4) clarify and standardize technical transformation project requirements to ensure implementation progress and effectiveness; (5) increase training on environmental and quality knowledge for cadres and employees, enhance awareness, and clearly define responsibilities down to each position and responsible person.
