Changniu invites you to attend the 11th International Foundry Expo

On the afternoon of February 21, in response to recent quality issues identified during the assembly process at Changchai Machinery involving engine blocks and cylinder heads produced by Changniu Machinery, General Manager Sun Hao organized a special analysis meeting. Participants included personnel from the technical department, casting workshop, and machining workshops. Leaders from Changchai Group’s Quality Assurance Department, Technical Center, Procurement Department, and Single-Cylinder Engine Plant were also invited to attend and provide guidance.

      At the meeting, Assistant General Manager Yang Yuhong reported on the causes of quality issues found in engine blocks and cylinder heads produced by the company since 2023 during assembly at Changchai Machinery, as well as proposed corrective measures. Representatives from Changchai Single-Cylinder Engine Plant and the warehouse inspection station communicated and exchanged views with Changniu Machinery regarding issues identified during incoming inspection and assembly processes, as well as inspection methods.

On January 30, the Party Committee and Government of Benniu Town held a grand 2023 Industrial Development Conference and 2022 Outstanding Enterprise Commendation Conference. The meeting recognized advanced enterprises that made significant contributions to the economic and social development of Benniu Town in 2022, guided enterprises to increase innovation investment, accelerate transformation and upgrading, and encouraged them to grow stronger and larger. The company was awarded two honors: the “Science and Technology Innovation Award” and the “Tax Contribution Award” for 2022, and was officially commended at the conference.

        On January 15, Changniu Machinery held the 2023 Economic Work Conference and the 2022 Annual Commendation Meeting for Advanced Collectives and Individuals. More than 80 participants attended the meeting, including company leaders, all supervisors and above, employee representatives, backbone staff, advanced collectives, and outstanding individuals.

At the meeting, Chairman Sun Jianzhong delivered an important speech. The General Manager and each responsible deputy general manager presented their 2022 annual work reports. The conference also commended the 2022 advanced collectives, company model employees, and outstanding production (work) employees. The meeting was presided over by Wang Wenxing, Deputy Party Branch Secretary of the company.

In 2022, facing a complex internal and external environment, and under the impact of repeated COVID-19 outbreaks, sharp fluctuations in raw material prices, and a significant decline in product demand, the company— with strong support from the parent company—maintained firm confidence. In production and business activities such as cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and product upgrading, a group of advanced teams and outstanding employees emerged, demonstrating strong management capability, teamwork, dedication, and excellent performance.

To promote role models and fully leverage the demonstration and leading effect of advanced examples, the company launched the 2022 selection activity for “Advanced Teams, Company-Level Model Employees, and Outstanding Production (Work) Employees” starting from December 15, 2022. Following the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness, a selection committee was established. After multiple rounds of evaluation and public announcement, the results identified the Casting Molding (A) Team and the Machining Balancing Shaft Team as “Advanced Teams”; Chen Baohui from the Foundry Division and Shi Hongxing from the Machining Division as “Company-Level Model Employees”; and 19 employees including Yao Xiaoshun as Outstanding Production (Work) Employees.

From January 4th to 5th, 2023, an audit team composed of two experts from Jiangsu Aikai Ai International Standard Certification Co., Ltd. conducted a supervision audit of the company's IATF16949:2016 quality management system. After the audit, the expert group unanimously agreed that: The quality management system currently in operation by the company complies with the requirements of the quality management system standards and has maintained the IATF16949:2016 certification qualification.
