From January 4–5, 2023, an audit team composed of two experts from Jiangsu AQA International Standard Certification Co., Ltd. conducted a surveillance audit of the company’s IATF 16949:2016 quality management system. After the audit, the expert team unanimously concluded that the company’s currently operating quality management system complies with the requirements of the standard, and the company has successfully maintained its IATF 16949:2016 certification qualification.
This audit was the final surveillance audit within the current certification cycle. The audit covered seven departments, including production, supply and sales, technical quality, as well as the foundry and machining workshops. During the audit process, the experts conducted a detailed review of the implementation status of the quality management system across each department and workshop.
After two days of auditing, the audit team fully affirmed the work carried out by the company over the past three years in operating its quality management system. They noted that the company’s quality management level has improved year by year, the management team is well-established, and the system operation is mature with solid foundations. The team unanimously recommended maintaining the quality management system certification registration.
At the same time, the audit team also provided higher expectations and more in-depth requirements for Changniu Machinery’s quality management system. A total of five minor nonconformities were issued during this audit.
After listening to the audit report, General Manager Sun Hao requested that all departments and workshops attach great importance to the five minor nonconformities raised by the audit team, actively organize corrective actions, conduct systematic analysis, and ensure timely rectification. He also emphasized that all cadres and employees should proactively study and understand the requirements of the IATF 16949:2016 quality management system standard, stay updated with the latest revisions, and actively carry out work in accordance with the standard requirements, so as to further improve the company’s quality management system to a higher level.
