To implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and welcome a good start to the “14th Five-Year Plan,” showcase the achievements of the Yangtze River ecological protection, enrich the spiritual and cultural life of employees, and fully demonstrate the positive, healthy, and uplifting spirit of employees in Xinbei District. The Xinbei District Federation of Trade Unions organized the “Celebrating the Centenary, Exploring Yangtze River Culture, and Moving Toward Happiness” green fitness walking activity.
Under the organization of the Benniu Town Federation of Trade Unions, Changniu Machinery actively participated in this event. The company organized and sent 13 employees to take part. The activity was held at the Yangtze River Protection Exhibition Hall and lasted half a day. Before the event officially started, two employee teams performed a red song duet, including “Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China” and “Unity Is Strength.” The whole route consisted of 8 checkpoints, including 4 medical stations and 4 themed publicity stations. Participants walked along the riverbank, deeply experienced the scenery, took photos, and shared moments on social media. Together, they acted as ambassadors for the Yangtze River. The full route was either a 11-kilometer challenge or a 6-kilometer half route. Some employees completed the 6-kilometer challenge, while most completed the 11-kilometer challenge. Through this activity, employees expressed their love for the Party and the country, were educated and guided to always remember the Party’s kindness, and firmly follow the Party’s leadership. It also provided a broad platform for social interaction among employees and enriched their spiritual and cultural lives.

In recent years, under the leadership of the company’s Party branch and the township federation of trade unions, the Changniu Company Trade Union has been guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It closely focuses on the goals of the company’s Party branch and administrative work, fully mobilizes employees’ enthusiasm, strengthens its own development, actively participates in enterprise operation and management, emphasizes rights protection, and promotes the coordinated development of economic construction and spiritual civilization, making due contributions to enhancing corporate cohesion and combat effectiveness.

The company’s trade union actively responds to the calls of higher-level trade unions and participates in various honor-creation activities. In 2019, the company’s trade union was awarded the title of “Model Employee Home” by the Xinbei District Federation of Trade Unions. In 2017 and 2019, it was recognized as an outstanding team in Changzhou’s “Ankang Cup” competition by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. In 2020, General Manager Sun Hao of the company was awarded the title of “Excellent Friend of Trade Unions in Xinbei District” by the Xinbei District Federation of Trade Unions. In 2019, Comrade Chen Baohui, a molding worker in the foundry workshop, was awarded the title of “Civilized Employee of Xinbei District” by the Xinbei District Federation of Trade Unions. In 2021, Comrade Chen Baohui was awarded the “May 1st Labor Medal” by the Changzhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. In 2018, the company’s trade union chairman Wang Wenxing was awarded the title of “Excellent Trade Union Worker” by the Xinbei District Federation of Trade Unions and was recognized as the “Trusted Employee’s Home Leader” by the Benniu Town Federation of Trade Unions. From 2016 to 2018, the Changniu Company Trade Union was continuously awarded the title of “Advanced Grassroots Trade Union” by the township federation of trade unions for three consecutive years. Through the commendation and promotion of advanced role models, the enthusiasm of employees to learn from and strive to become advanced has been effectively enhanced, creating a positive atmosphere. This has maximized employees’ passion for their work and technical skills, fostering a strong “compare, learn, catch up, help, and surpass” culture within the company.
