From January 23 to 25, 2024, an audit team composed of two experts from Beijing Jiuding Guolian Certification Co., Ltd. conducted a three-day recertification audit of the company’s IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System. The audit covered all seven departments and two workshops of the company.

In order to further strengthen the company’s management team building, improve the overall quality and working capability of management personnel, and better meet the requirements of the company’s development, the company organized a management training program themed “Enhancing Quality, Addressing Weaknesses, and Strengthening Execution” in accordance with the annual cadre training plan.

In order to effectively unite grassroots development efforts and continuously deepen the village-enterprise co-construction model of “Party building leadership, joint development, win-win cooperation, and co-organized activities,” the Party branch of Changniu Machinery and the Party General Branch of Nanguan Village Committee in Benniu Town, taking the opportunity of the convening of the “National Ecological Environmental Protection Conference” and the first “National Ecological Day,” actively responded to the call of the General Secretary that “the whole Party and society should maintain and strengthen ecological civilization construction and be active disseminators and model practitioners of the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.” Starting from improving regional ecological civilization and jointly building a better homeland, they jointly organized a Party-building learning activity themed “Practicing the Two Mountains Theory, Building a Better Homeland.”

The theme of the meeting was to comprehensively analyze and review all work in the first half of the year, assess the current situation, and deploy key tasks for the second half of the year. The meeting further mobilized all cadres and employees to shoulder new missions in the new era, overcome difficulties, work hard with practical responsibility, and contribute fully to achieving a new leap in the development of Changniu Machinery in the new era. Chairman Sun Jianzhong, General Manager Sun Hao, and other company leaders attended the meeting, along with all supervisors at and above team leader level and some key staff members. The meeting was chaired by Party Branch Deputy Secretary and Deputy General Manager Wang Wenxing.

On the afternoon of February 21, in response to recent quality issues identified during the assembly process at Changchai Machinery involving engine blocks and cylinder heads produced by Changniu Machinery, General Manager Sun Hao organized a special analysis meeting. Participants included personnel from the technical department, casting workshop, and machining workshops. Leaders from Changchai Group’s Quality Assurance Department, Technical Center, Procurement Department, and Single-Cylinder Engine Plant were also invited to attend and provide guidance.

      At the meeting, Assistant General Manager Yang Yuhong reported on the causes of quality issues found in engine blocks and cylinder heads produced by the company since 2023 during assembly at Changchai Machinery, as well as proposed corrective measures. Representatives from Changchai Single-Cylinder Engine Plant and the warehouse inspection station communicated and exchanged views with Changniu Machinery regarding issues identified during incoming inspection and assembly processes, as well as inspection methods.
