On January 31, Changniu Machinery held its 2024 Economic Work Conference and 2023 Annual Advanced Commendation Meeting. More than 80 participants attended the meeting, including company leaders, all team leaders and above, employee representatives, key staff, advanced collectives, and outstanding individuals.
At the meeting, Party Branch Secretary and General Manager Sun Hao delivered the 2023 annual general manager’s work report. Vice General Manager Yang Yuhong and General Manager Assistant Yan Dongliang presented the 2023 production, safety, and environmental protection report as well as the technical and quality report respectively. The meeting also commended advanced teams, company-level model employees, and outstanding production workers for 2023. Deputy Party Secretary Wang Wenxing presided over the meeting.
The main task of the conference was to take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as guidance, thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, resolutely carry out the decisions and deployments of the Central Economic Work Conference, provincial, municipal, district, township, and Changchai Group economic work meetings, review and summarize Changniu Machinery’s 2023 work, study and deploy key tasks for 2024, and mobilize all cadres and employees to further unify thinking, work together, innovate, and take responsibility, striving to promote the sustained and healthy development of Changniu Machinery.
General Manager Sun Hao delivered the work report titled “Pioneering Innovation and Taking Responsibility to Promote the Sustained and Healthy Development of Changniu Machinery.” The report conveyed the spirit of the “Changchai 2024 Economic Work Conference,” provided a comprehensive review of 2023 operations, analyzed existing problems, challenges, and pressures, clarified the 2024 business objectives, and deployed key tasks for 2024. He emphasized that the goals for 2024 have been clearly defined, and all employees must recognize the situation, seize opportunities, and under the correct leadership of the Party Branch, Board of Directors, and management team, “seize all favorable timing and conditions, act quickly when opportunities arise, and do as much as possible to address uncertainties with certainty,” ensuring implementation with determination, efficiency, pragmatism, and bold execution to promote high-quality development.

Vice General Manager Yang Yuhong summarized production, safety, and environmental protection work in 2023 and deployed plans for 2024. In production, the company overcame difficulties, strengthened coordination, and continuously improved capacity to meet supply demands of Changchai Group while strengthening basic management. In safety, the company adhered to the principle of “safety first, prevention foremost, and comprehensive management,” actively promoted the goal of becoming a Level 3 Safety Standardization Enterprise, and implemented safety responsibilities. In 2023, safety investment reached RMB 1.5116 million. In environmental protection, in response to increasingly stringent regulatory requirements, the company strictly followed government policies, actively implemented environmental initiatives, and invested RMB 982,100 in environmental protection in 2023. The report also clarified 2024 goals, emphasizing safety, environmental equipment upgrades, and optimization of production processes and staffing.

General Manager Assistant Yan Dongliang summarized the 2023 technical and quality work and reported on the 2024 work plan. He reviewed quality improvement initiatives and implementation of “inspection shifting forward,” steady system operation, and technical improvements through new product development and process optimization. In 2024, the focus will be on reducing quality losses, strengthening employee training, improving raw material inspection, ensuring process execution, enhancing inspection capabilities, and advancing quality improvement projects driven by data-based management and accountability systems.

After the three reports, Deputy Party Secretary Wang Wenxing read out the “Decision on Commending Advanced Teams and Outstanding Production Workers of 2023.” The meeting then held a commendation ceremony for advanced teams, company-level model employees, and outstanding production workers.

Finally, Deputy Party Secretary Wang Wenxing made three implementation requirements for carrying out the meeting spirit: 1. All departments and workshops must thoroughly understand and promptly communicate the meeting spirit to all teams and employees, identify weaknesses, analyze problems, and formulate targeted measures with clear responsibilities and assessments. 2. All employees should face problems directly, change thinking, and move forward under pressure. 3. Awarded advanced teams and individuals should continue striving, maintain a spirit of continuous improvement, and contribute further to the company’s development.
