In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, study Party history, express gratitude to the Party, and firmly remember the original mission without forgetting the responsibility, the Party Branch of Changniu Machinery organized a red-themed Party-building activity from June 19 to June 20 titled “Studying Party History, Carrying Forward the Iron Army Spirit; Embarking on a New Journey, Creating a New Situation for Changniu.”
On June 19, more than 20 Party members from Changniu Machinery visited the Wunan Incident Martyrs Cemetery. With solemn and sorrowful feelings, they paid silent tribute to the revolutionary martyrs who rest there, commemorating the New Fourth Army predecessors who sacrificed their lives for the Chinese revolution. The tour guide explained in detail the entire process of the Wunan Incident. The tragic historical events of the last century echoed vividly in everyone’s minds.

At the memorial square, all Party members stood before the bright red Party flag and national flag. Led by Party Branch Secretary and General Manager Sun Hao, they solemnly raised their right hands, clenched their fists, and revisited the Party oath. Their firm and powerful declarations expressed their unwavering commitment to never forget the original aspiration and to always follow the Party.

After the oath-taking ceremony, Party members and cadres from the company spontaneously walked toward the memorial monument standing atop the hill, gazing up at it with deep respect as a witness to history.

On June 20, all Party members of Changniu Machinery visited the former site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Yunling. The memorial site in Jing County is one of the best-preserved revolutionary heritage complexes in China and one of the Eight Major Historical Sites of modern Chinese history. As an important revolutionary site, it vividly records the glorious achievements of the Communist Party of China and its leadership of the people’s army during the Anti-Japanese War.
From 1938 to 1941, during the Anti-Japanese War, the New Fourth Army Headquarters and the Southeast Bureau of the CPC Central Committee were stationed in Yunling, Jing County. Revolutionary leaders such as Zhou Enlai, Chen Yi, Ye Ting, Xiang Ying, and Zeng Shan once commanded the anti-Japanese struggle of military and civilians in East and Central China here, making it a southern revolutionary holy site that echoed with Yan’an in the north.
Through observing cultural relics and photographs and carefully listening to explanations, all participants deeply felt the “Iron Army Spirit” forged by New Fourth Army soldiers with their blood and lives—firm belief in following the Party, fearless and resolute steel-like will, tenacious and unyielding work style, unity forged through adversity, broad-minded dedication to the nation, and strict discipline with unified action.

By revisiting history and reflecting on the present, all Party members of Changniu Machinery are practicing the Party’s principles through concrete actions. They consistently uphold the original mission, carry forward the Iron Army Spirit, and promote its creative transformation by adhering to scientific development, keeping pace with the times, daring to take responsibility, and developing the enterprise through technology.
They also promote its innovative development by upholding iron-like faith, iron discipline, iron work style, and iron unity, thereby embarking on a new journey of high-quality development for Changniu Machinery with determination and strength.
