In order to improve employees’ skill levels, on-site management capabilities, and process execution ability, Changniu Machinery conducted training sessions for the directors, team leaders, and employees of the Foundry Workshop and Machining Workshop on August 14 and August 19–20 respectively.
On the afternoon of August 14, a training session was held for the molding sand, molding, and pouring processes in the Foundry Workshop. The training consisted of three main parts. In the first part, Zhang Dongliang, Assistant General Manager in charge of technology and quality, explained the control of molding sand. He first used illustrated materials to explain the relationship between various parameters of molding sand, control methods, and the types of product defects caused by non-conforming parameters. He then further clarified the quality control point requirements for responsible personnel of molding sand systems. Finally, he explained the information transmission process among sand inspection, sand mixing, molding stations, and the handling procedures for abnormalities.
The second part was delivered by Yang Jian, Assistant Director of the Foundry Workshop, who explained the control of molding and pouring processes. He first introduced the production process and key precautions of molding and pouring operations, then discussed key equipment conditions that require attention during production, and finally reviewed historical quality issues and corresponding solutions.
The third part was a summary of the training delivered again by Assistant General Manager Zhang Dongliang. He put forward four requirements: (1) All personnel must be familiar with their job responsibilities and process requirements; (2) All personnel must strictly follow process requirements during production—suggestions for improvement are allowed, but unauthorized changes to processes are strictly prohibited; (3) Any abnormalities during production must be promptly handled and recorded, and unresolved issues must be reported step by step to ensure rapid response and resolution—production must not continue with unresolved problems; (4) Temporary replacement workers must also receive proper training and can only take the post after passing assessment.

On the afternoon of August 19 and the morning of August 20, training was conducted for all employees of the Machining Workshop, including directors and team leaders, covering all processes. The two half-day sessions included three main topics. First, Deputy General Manager Yang Yuhong, responsible for production and safety, delivered training on execution capability building, on-site “5S” management, safety management, and equipment maintenance. He elaborated on the importance of execution capability from aspects such as what execution is, execution culture development, and the role of execution capability. He then explained what “5S” and safety management are and the benefits they bring. Finally, he shared knowledge and requirements related to equipment maintenance and upkeep.
The second part was delivered by Li Bin, Head of the Technology Quality Department. He first reviewed internal and external quality feedback from January to July 2024, focusing on the causes of quality issues and corrective and preventive measures. He then explained the on-site quality management process, clarifying process requirements, responsible persons, and key precautions for each stage of the machining workshop, from machine startup, production, inspection, to shutdown.
The third part was delivered by team leader Cheng Xintao from the Technology Quality Department, who explained the standardized use of measuring tools, as well as basic knowledge of reading drawings and interpreting technical drawings, and the requirements of on-site work instructions.

Through this three-day training on employee skills and execution capability, participants not only deepened their understanding of the company’s quality management work, but also improved their ability to solve problems in the production process.
