In order to promote the company’s safety culture, popularize safety knowledge, actively carry out safety improvement activities, enhance employee awareness, and further strengthen the understanding of the importance of workplace safety among cadres and employees, the company’s labor union made overall arrangements and carefully organized a safety knowledge competition for personnel above team leader level at 1:00 p.m. on January 18, 2020.
Half a month before the competition, the company’s labor union distributed the “Basic Knowledge Guidebook on Safety Production Management” to every participant. This enabled employees to learn more about workplace safety, improve their safety awareness and prevention capabilities, and foster a positive and proactive safety culture atmosphere.
The competition was conducted in the form of a written examination, consisting of 100 questions with a time limit of 30 minutes. A total of 35 employees participated in the event. All participants were well prepared, highly motivated, and answered the questions carefully and attentively. After the competition, the company’s event leadership group uniformly reviewed the examination papers. Among the participants, six achieved perfect scores and more than ten scored above 90 points. Based on the results, six first prizes were awarded, along with certificates and rewards.
This competition received strong support from company leaders, the labor union, and active cooperation from all departments. Through the organization of this workplace safety knowledge competition, the company not only strengthened its safety production management system and improved its safety management framework, but also enabled cadres and employees to better understand the importance of safety during production processes. The event enhanced safety training, improved the safety technology and management capabilities of department managers, and raised employees’ workplace safety knowledge and self-protection awareness.
