The leaders of the head office came to Changniu Machinery to console the employees working on the front line in high temperatures

On the morning of August 1, Shi Jianchun, Vice General Manager of the parent company Changchai Co., Ltd., Ni Mingliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and He Jianjiang, Director of the Investment Development Department, braved the intense summer heat to visit the frontline production workshops of Changzhou Changniu Machinery Co., Ltd. They extended their care and support to employees who continued to work diligently under extreme temperatures and delivered heat-relief supplies on behalf of the parent company.

The leadership team first visited the foundry workshop. In order to ensure the timely completion of supply tasks for the parent company and external business orders with guaranteed quality and quantity, employees in the foundry workshop continued working under scorching conditions, facing production environments exceeding 40°C and intense heat radiation from molten iron at temperatures above 1,400°C. The leaders carefully inquired about production operations and safety measures and reminded workshop management to pay even greater attention to heatstroke prevention and workplace safety under such demanding conditions.

Afterward, the leaders visited the machining workshop. Seeing employees working hard and sweating to complete production tasks, the leaders emphasized to workshop management that workplace safety must always remain the top priority. They urged the implementation of practical and effective heat-relief measures to ensure not only production progress but also the personal safety of all employees.

Before the arrival of the high-temperature season this year, the company had already begun preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling measures. Various cooling devices such as fans were installed at production sites, and heat-relief supplies as well as emergency medicines were distributed to all teams and employees. After the hot weather arrived, salt soda beverages were provided to frontline workers, and barley tea was prepared at production sites to help replenish fluids. Ice blocks were also placed in high-temperature areas to reduce heat. As temperatures continued to rise, the company promptly adjusted work schedules to avoid peak heat periods.

The leaders from the parent company fully affirmed the company’s heat-relief measures and arrangements. They once again reminded company management that, during consecutive days of extreme heat, continuous efforts must be made to ensure employee heat protection and workplace safety, safeguard employees’ health, and help all staff enjoy a safe and healthy summer.
