On the afternoon of January 18, Changniu Machinery held its Economic Work Conference. The main task of the meeting was to review and summarize the company’s work in 2019, study and deploy the major tasks for 2020, and mobilize all cadres and employees to face the complex external environment under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Guided by the principles of “innovative management, cost reduction and expenditure control, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement,” the company aimed to strengthen internal capabilities and pursue practical work in order to achieve new economic breakthroughs amid challenges. The meeting also organized a safety knowledge examination and awards ceremony for advanced teams and outstanding winners. Cadres above team leader level and advanced workers attended the conference. During the meeting, General Manager Sun Hao reviewed the company’s operations in 2019. Facing severe challenges such as the deep adjustment of the agricultural machinery industry, persistently high raw material prices, and normalized safety and environmental supervision, the company proposed that in 2020 it would focus on “innovative management, increasing revenue and reducing expenditure, improving quality, and enhancing efficiency” to ensure fulfillment of the parent company’s requirements. Under the leadership of the parent company and the board of directors, Changniu Machinery would focus on its annual objectives, strengthen internal management, work diligently, and embrace the challenges of 2020 with the spirit of “seizing every moment and living up to the times.”
Vice General Manager Mi Wenzhong delivered a speech, stating that the company had successfully completed work related to safety, environmental protection, equipment, energy management, and technological upgrades. In 2020, increasing revenue, reducing expenditure, improving efficiency, and turning losses into profits would become the company’s key operational priorities. He emphasized learning advanced management concepts, applying advanced technologies, and continuously improving capabilities. Vice General Manager Wan Jianhua and Deputy Party Secretary Wang Wenxing also delivered important work reports.
Assistant General Manager Yang Yuhong presented the company’s quality work plan for 2020. The company would continue to organize quality improvement projects, refine assessment methods, optimize management models, implement the “Raise Your Hand” system, enhance employees’ “firewall” awareness, establish a quality improvement team for outsourced parts, and further improve product quality. The company would also optimize on-site production process documentation, ensure consistency between process documents and actual operations, strictly enforce process discipline, and strengthen assessment measures with the principle of “every issue discovered will be assessed accordingly.”
During the meeting, award ceremonies were held for advanced teams, outstanding producers, and winners of the knowledge competition. Six participants achieved perfect scores in the knowledge competition and were all awarded first prizes. The company called on all teams and employees to learn from advanced role models, strive for excellence, and surpass benchmarks, working together toward achieving Changniu Company’s goals and objectives in the new year.
