On the afternoon of February 16, 2020, under the leadership of Cheng Yu, Secretary of the Benniu Town Party Committee, leaders from the town’s three major administrative groups, together with officials from the Party and Mass Work Department, Industry Department, Economic Development Department, Safety Supervision Department, and Trade Union, visited the company to conduct inspections and provide guidance on epidemic prevention and control as well as workplace safety following the resumption of operations. Accompanied by General Manager Sun Hao, the town leaders inspected the company’s security gate, epidemic prevention materials warehouse, cafeteria, isolation room, and workshop production sites. They also listened to General Manager Sun Hao’s report on the company’s implementation and execution of the “Four Measures in Place” for epidemic prevention and control, along with the safety production measures currently being carried out. The leaders inquired about employee attendance and the recovery of production capacity, and delivered relevant documents including the “Opinions of the Changzhou Municipal People’s Government on Supporting Enterprises in Resuming Production in Response to the COVID-19 Epidemic.” They stated that the government would fully support enterprises in resuming work and production and rapidly restoring capacity, provided that the “Four Measures in Place” were effectively implemented. The town leaders affirmed the company’s epidemic prevention measures and workplace safety practices, while also offering related requirements and recommendations. They provided preliminary responses to the company’s current production and operational difficulties, and repeatedly emphasized the importance of maintaining strict epidemic prevention and workplace safety measures even under urgent production demands, urging the company to remain vigilant at all times to ensure overall safety and stability.
