With the rise of spring agricultural production across the country, Changchai’s production and sales ushered in a prosperous spring season. It was recently learned that during the peak production season, Changniu Machinery, as Changchai’s parts manufacturing base, closely focused on Changchai’s annual business objectives, fully utilized production resources, actively organized manufacturing, and made every effort to maximize capacity to meet the supporting and outsourcing demands of Changchai and external customers. After enduring the challenges of the Year of Gengzi, the company accelerated onto the fast track of peak-season production and sales. Building upon the production increase achieved in March, sales revenue in April recorded significant year-on-year growth.
As is well known, the sudden outbreak of the pandemic at the beginning of the year disrupted all planned schedules and arrangements. Affected by the epidemic, Changniu Machinery resumed work half a month later than originally planned. At the early stage of work resumption, the company also faced issues such as non-local employees being unable to return and returning employees requiring quarantine. While strictly implementing epidemic prevention and control measures, Changben Company actively coordinated and communicated with employees, organizing their return and work resumption in an orderly manner. After resuming operations, despite challenges such as heavy production tasks and labor shortages, Changniu Machinery adopted multiple measures to promote production, including arranging staff to fill temporary positions, providing meal subsidies, flexibly adjusting production shifts and part models, and working together to ensure the smooth completion of orders from the headquarters and outsourcing customers.
Each team within the Changniu Machinery Foundry Division raced against time and market demand during the peak season: the furnace team worked overtime continuously on furnace inspection, repair, and lining construction, ensuring uninterrupted production during furnace downtime; the horizontal molding and pouring teams cooperated closely, overcoming various difficulties and continuously increasing shift output; the maintenance and electrical team provided precise support, making every effort to repair equipment and reduce downtime; the cleaning team tackled challenges such as multiple product varieties and large amounts of reclaimed sand, insisting on shift-by-shift cleaning and timely delivery; and the forklift team worked at full speed, increasing reclaimed sand transportation to fully meet production requirements. Through the joint efforts of all employees, the Foundry Division successfully completed production tasks with high quality and efficiency. In March, the monthly output of the AMF horizontal molding line reached 76,900 mold boxes, setting a new high in recent years.

The Machining Division of Changniu Machinery improved product manufacturing and delivery capabilities through measures such as reasonably arranging production plans, revitalizing internal resources, and accelerating production progress. The engine block, cylinder head, and balance shaft workshops overcame difficulties including labor shortages and numerous deformed product types by coordinating human resources and implementing overtime and weekend shifts, successfully exceeding production targets. The maintenance workshop and finished goods warehouse fully supported frontline production, with all employees working together to excellently complete tasks such as equipment maintenance and product inspection. Hard work brought fruitful results, and the Machining Division achieved impressive performance in March and April, with 68,800 cylinder heads and 64,100 engine blocks completed and stored.

According to reports, demand for Changchai product assembly, market sales, and outsourcing customers remains strong, and Changniu Machinery still faces very demanding production tasks. In the face of both opportunities and challenges, all employees of Changniu Machinery will continue to unite and further refine tasks accurately and systematically down to teams, positions, and processes. Employees are encouraged to contribute ideas and collaborate to improve output, product yield rates, and qualified delivery rates. At the same time, the company will strengthen fundamental management in areas such as production safety, equipment maintenance, and on-site environment management, ensuring the needs of Changchai and outsourcing customers are fully met. Changniu Machinery will continue to contribute to Changchai’s transformation, upgrading, and accelerated development while providing strong support to all outsourcing customers and steadily advancing toward its annual business objectives.
