On the occasion of the anniversary celebrating the founding of the Communist Party of China, and in order to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on strengthening Party discipline education, the Party Branch of Changniu Machinery actively responded to the CPC Central Committee’s “Notice on Conducting Party Discipline Learning and Education Across the Party” and organized a meaningful Party spirit and Party discipline study activity themed “Learning from Role Models to Strengthen Party Spirit, Putting Practice into Action to Embark on a New Journey” from June 28 to 29.
All participating Party members and Party activists first visited the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall. The first thing that caught their eyes was the solemn bronze bust of Comrade Zhou Enlai. Inside the hall, a large number of historical relics, photographs, and documents vividly present Zhou Enlai’s magnificent life. From his participation in early revolutionary activities during the founding of the Communist Party of China, to national construction after the founding of New China, and the development of diplomatic work, every exhibit deeply reflects his unwavering loyalty to the Party and the people as well as his outstanding contributions.
After leaving the memorial hall, the group visited the former residence of Comrade Zhou Enlai—his birthplace. This simple yet elegant building witnessed his growth and formed an important part of his spiritual world. Listening to the explanations, participants seemed to travel back in time, feeling the pulse of history. The phrase “Study for the rise of China,” which carries Zhou Enlai’s childhood aspiration, reflects his determination to serve the nation and his deep affection for his homeland and pursuit of ideals.
During the visit, participants were not only moved by Zhou Enlai’s personal charisma but also deeply inspired by his firm Party spirit and noble character. Throughout his life, Zhou Enlai remained honest and devoted, always placing the interests of the Party and the people above all else. His conduct set a shining example. This visit served as a spiritual cleansing, strengthening participants’ ideals and beliefs, and enhancing their historical responsibility and sense of mission as Communist Party members.
The group also visited the Memorial Museum of the Birthplace of the People’s Liberation Army Navy. From five aspects—“modern historical hardships, founding of the Navy, defending maritime sovereignty, development and expansion, and close ties with the people”—participants learned about the glorious development of the People’s Navy, which, under the strong leadership of the Party, has grown from coastal defense forces into a modern naval force capable of safeguarding national sovereignty and maritime rights through a long journey of overcoming challenges. The fearless spirit of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries—“starting from nothing, daring to innovate, taking responsibility, and continuously advancing”—was deeply admired by all.
Through this educational activity, participants not only revisited the history of the Communist Party of China’s hard struggle but also gained a deeper understanding of the true meaning of “staying true to the original aspiration and keeping the mission firmly in mind.” In the new era, we must take revolutionary predecessors such as Zhou Enlai as role models, continuously strengthen Party spirit, improve ourselves through practice, and comprehensively enhance Party members’ awareness of discipline and rules, ensuring that theory and practice are unified, and that Party discipline is internalized in the heart and externalized in action.
Facing intense market competition, challenges, and opportunities, we must identify problems and weaknesses, formulate corrective measures, effectively promote the transformation of work style, and improve work efficiency, so as to contribute to achieving Changniu Machinery’s annual targets and long-term development plan, and embark on a new journey of high-quality development.
