On the afternoon of July 21, the company held its 2025 semi-annual economic work conference. The theme of the meeting was: to convey the spirit of the 2025 semi-annual economic work conference of the parent company Changchai, comprehensively analyze and review all work in the first half of the year, and, based on the company’s annual business objectives and the requirements of Changchai headquarters, combined with the current situation, deploy key tasks for the second half of the year. The meeting aimed to unify thinking, strengthen unity, pursue innovation, and promote practical responsibility, striving for the continuous and healthy development of Changzhou Changniu Machinery Co., Ltd. General Manager Sun Hao, all team leaders and above, and some key staff attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Party Branch Deputy Secretary and Deputy General Manager Wang Wenxing.

According to the agenda, Deputy General Manager Yang Yuhong first delivered a report on production, safety, environmental protection, and technical quality work. In terms of production, safety, and environmental protection, driven by strong demand from Changchai headquarters in the first half of the year, Changniu Machinery actively organized production, coordinated resources, and worked overtime to ensure supply despite low inventory levels. Key tasks for the second half of the year include ensuring supply stability, establishing reasonable inventory levels, ensuring timely completion of new product development, maintaining zero major safety and environmental accidents, and promoting 5S management in workshops. In terms of technical quality, the first half of the year achieved good results in new product development and quality improvement. In the second half of the year, externally, the company will strictly follow the goal of “no defective products leaving the factory,” comprehensively sort out issues with outsourced suppliers, implement targeted improvements, and refine quality control requirements for partner units with clear responsibilities and measures. Internally, the company will strengthen its foundation, focusing on improving casting yield through process control, employee training, and on-site management, striving to achieve all planned objectives.

The Casting Workshop Director Wang Weiping summarized the work of the first half of the year. Despite personnel fluctuations, raw material price changes, and industrial electricity pricing adjustments, the workshop steadily advanced production management, quality improvement, cost reduction, and safety and environmental protection work. In the second half of the year, the focus will be on strict process execution, detailed quality task management, enhanced employee training, and gradually improving casting yield, while strengthening workshop production, safety, and environmental management.

The Machining Workshop Director Chao Guobin delivered a report summarizing the first half of 2025 and outlining the second-half work plan. He emphasized that attitude determines everything. All staff in the workshop have maintained a strong sense of responsibility and mission, working hard to overcome challenges. The workshop has continuously promoted quality system construction, strengthened on-site management supervision, strictly implemented the “three-inspection system,” and increased sampling frequency for key and error-prone processes to ensure targeted quality control. In the second half of the year, the workshop will strictly implement the “Three No Principles” (do not accept, do not produce, and do not pass on defective products). All managers will take the lead, and all employees will work together to ensure production, quality, and safety objectives are met.

He first conveyed the spirit of Changchai headquarters’ semi-annual economic work meeting, reviewed and summarized Changniu Machinery’s work in the first half of the year, and set goals and arrangements for the second half of the year. During the report, he introduced the main contents of the “14th Five-Year Plan” submitted to the parent company. He also explained the basic qualities required of middle-level managers in traditional manufacturing enterprises. Finally, he pointed out that 2025 is the final year of the “14th Five-Year Plan,” the planning year for the “15th Five-Year Plan,” and a critical year for the sustained and healthy development of Changniu Machinery. Taking the opportunity of the “merger of Changniu Machinery and Changben Company,” the company will further expand its business scope, increase outsourcing operations, enhance independent survival capability, keep pace with the times, promote the application of AI tools, and present a new and vibrant development image.
