Safety Inspection for a Peaceful Holiday
On the morning of February 1, 2019, the company’s Production Department organized a comprehensive pre-holiday workplace safety inspection led personally by the General Manager. The inspection covered all production workshops, warehouses, power stations, and other facilities throughout the company to ensure that both the company and all employees could enjoy a safe and peaceful Spring Festival holiday.
During the past year of 2018, the company attached great importance to workplace safety management, strictly fulfilled its primary responsibility for production safety, established and improved the workplace safety responsibility system, and formulated as well as refined safety management regulations and operating procedures. Throughout the year, the company invested RMB 523,800 in workplace safety initiatives. The company continued advancing safety production standardization and successfully passed the reassessment for Level-3 Safety Production Standardization Management within the year.
The company also actively carried out safety hazard identification and rectification activities, completed the establishment of the dual prevention and control systems involving safety risk classification management and hidden hazard investigation and governance (“Dual Control” system), and successfully passed the review and acceptance organized by the environmental protection authorities. In 2018, the number of general workplace safety accidents decreased by 50% year-on-year, effectively ensuring the orderly operation of the company’s production and business activities.
In 2019, the company will continue implementing the workplace safety responsibility system, strictly follow the requirements of safety production standardization and the “Dual Control” system, and carry out long-term safety management practices. Standard requirements and related measures will be integrated throughout the entire production and operation process to provide strong safety assurance for achieving the company’s 2019 business policies and operational objectives.
