On January 19, Changniu Machinery held its 2025 Economic Work Conference and the Third Session of the Second Workers’ (Staff) Congress. Company leaders, all middle-level and above managers, some employee representatives, advanced collectives, and outstanding individuals attended the meeting.
At the conference, Party Branch Secretary and General Manager Sun Hao delivered the 2024 General Manager’s Work Report. Deputy General Manager Yang Yuhong and General Manager Assistant Yan Dongliang presented the 2024 Production, Safety, and Environmental Protection Work Report and the Technical Quality Work Report respectively. Other responsible leaders submitted written reports summarizing their respective work areas in 2024 and outlining key tasks for 2025. The meeting also commended the advanced teams, company-level model employees, and outstanding production (work) staff of 2024. The meeting was chaired by Party Branch Deputy Secretary Wang Wenxing.
The main task of this meeting was to be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, to resolutely implement the decisions and arrangements of the Central Economic Work Conference and those of the provincial, municipal, district, township authorities as well as the parent company, to review and summarize Changniu Machinery’s work in 2024, to study and deploy key tasks for 2025, and to mobilize all cadres and employees to further unify thinking, strengthen solidarity, concentrate efforts, and overcome difficulties, striving to write a new chapter in the healthy development of Changniu Machinery.
General Manager Sun Hao delivered a keynote report titled “Unite Efforts, Overcome Difficulties, and Strive to Write a New Chapter in the Healthy Development of Changniu Machinery.” The report provided a comprehensive review of the company’s 2024 operations, analyzed existing problems, difficulties, and pressures, clarified the 2025 business objectives, and deployed key tasks for the year. The report emphasized that with clear goals set for 2025, all employees must recognize the situation, seize opportunities, and under the correct leadership of the Party Branch, Board of Directors, and management team, strengthen conviction, adopt a pragmatic work style, and take effective measures to achieve high-quality development and write a new chapter in the company’s progress.

Deputy General Manager Yang Yuhong summarized the 2024 production, safety, and environmental protection work and deployed plans for 2025. He first briefly reviewed the achievements and highlights of 2024, and then focused on 2025 arrangements. He proposed that in 2025, the company should align with its business objectives by “addressing shortcomings and setting benchmarks, focusing on implementation and execution,” ensuring quality and production, improving efficiency and benefits, strengthening team building, improving workshop construction through project-based management, and reinforcing safety and environmental protection as a continuous priority to maintain strict bottom-line control.

General Manager Assistant Yan Dongliang summarized the 2024 technical and quality work and presented the 2025 work plan. He analyzed the completion of key tasks in 2024, highlighting steady progress in quality improvement initiatives, system operation, new product development, process optimization, and technical improvements, which enhanced the company’s quality management capabilities and supported product upgrades. In 2025, the focus will be on improving casting yield, adopting a problem-oriented and prevention-focused approach, optimizing the manufacturing process, and strengthening quality improvement projects across the five factors of human, machine, material, method, and environment to reduce customer rejections through full-process and all-staff quality management.

After the presentations, group discussions were held on the reports of the general manager and other leaders. Participants actively shared opinions and suggestions based on their work experience, and exchanged ideas on their respective departments’ and workshops’ plans and arrangements for 2025.

After the group discussions, a plenary session was reconvened to vote on the reports, and the Resolution of the Third Session of the Second Workers’ Congress was adopted.
Finally, the commendation ceremony was held. Party Branch Deputy Secretary Wang Wenxing read out the decision on commending the 2024 advanced teams and outstanding production staff, and awards were presented to advanced teams, company-level model employees, and outstanding production (work) personnel. The meeting called on all teams and employees to take the advanced as role models, work diligently, remain dedicated, and strive for excellence, learning from and surpassing the advanced to achieve the company’s goals.

In the new year, under the care and support of the parent company, all cadres and employees of Changniu Machinery will continue to innovate, work diligently, and collaborate closely to achieve all 2025 targets. At the same time, all departments and workshops are required to ensure safety production, strengthen pre- and post-holiday safety education, conduct hazard inspections, and arrange duty shifts during holidays to ensure a safe and peaceful Spring Festival for the company and all employees.
