On February 1, Changniu Machinery held its 2026 Economic Work Conference and the Third Session of the Third Workers’ (Staff) Congress. Company leaders, all cadres above team leader level, employee representatives, advanced collective representatives, and advanced individual representatives attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Party Branch Secretary and General Manager Sun Hao delivered the 2025 annual general manager work report. Deputy General Manager Yang Yuhong presented the 2025 production safety, environmental protection report and technical quality work report. The Foundry Division and Machining Division submitted written reports summarizing their 2025 work and outlining their main plans for 2026. The meeting also commended advanced teams, company-level model employees, and advanced production (work) staff for 2025. The meeting was presided over by Party Branch Deputy Secretary Wang Wenxing.
The main tasks of this conference were: to adhere to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as guidance; fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and subsequent plenary sessions; carry out the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, as well as requirements from provincial, municipal, district, township authorities and Changchai Group; review and summarize Changniu Machinery’s 2025 work; plan and deploy key tasks for 2026; and mobilize all employees to unify thinking, work together, and strive forward under the correct leadership of the parent company, taking on new responsibilities and embarking on a new journey, so as to achieve a strong start for the “14th Five-Year Plan” transition toward the “15th Five-Year Plan” with high-quality development.
General Manager Sun Hao delivered the keynote report titled “Taking on New Responsibilities, Embarking on a New Journey, and Leading Changniu Machinery’s High-Quality Development for a Strong Start to the ‘15th Five-Year Plan’.” The report pointed out that 2025 is the final year of the “14th Five-Year Plan,” a planning year for the “15th Five-Year Plan,” and a critical year for Changniu Machinery’s sustained and healthy development. In 2025, facing favorable market demand growth in single-cylinder diesel engines, Changniu Machinery thoroughly implemented all tasks and requirements set by the parent company, closely followed its annual business objectives, unified thinking, strengthened cohesion, seized opportunities, and overcame difficulties. The company actively carried out production and operation activities, fully ensured supply requirements for the parent company, achieved simultaneous growth in production and sales, turned losses into profits, and successfully completed the operating targets assigned by the parent company.
The 2026 targets have been clearly defined. All cadres and employees of Changniu Machinery must recognize the situation and seize opportunities. Under the correct decision-making and leadership of the Party Branch, Board of Directors, and management team, the company will further strengthen confidence, adopt a pragmatic working style, and implement more effective measures. Through unity and determination, it will take on new responsibilities and embark on a new journey, achieving a strong start to the “15th Five-Year Plan” through high-quality development.

Deputy General Manager Yang Yuhong summarized the 2025 safety, environmental protection, production, and technical quality work and presented the 2026 work plan. He first reviewed the key achievements and highlights of 2025. He then focused on deploying 2026 tasks, emphasizing strict implementation of safety and environmental protection requirements, active communication with production, technology, and procurement departments of the parent company, and rational production organization to ensure supply requirements. He also proposed strengthening the collection and analysis of quality issues from the parent company, external customers, and internal processes. Using project-based management and completion rate targets, combined with the “Toyota-style quality management” model, the company will carry out quality improvement activities to enhance overall quality management level.

Director Wang Weiping of the Foundry Division summarized the 2025 work and reported on the 2026 plan. He analyzed both strengths and weaknesses in 2025, explained quality issues from both objective and subjective perspectives, and summarized achievements in safety, environmental protection, and cost reduction. The 2026 improvement plan focuses on equipment upgrades, technological innovation, and strengthening quality awareness.

Director Chao Guobin of the Machining Division summarized the 2025 work and reported on the 2026 plan. He noted that 2025 performance was steady and progressive. In 2026, the division will focus on key tasks and overcome difficulties, fully implement the “self-process completion” project, make it an instinctive operation for employees, ensure safety and environmental protection, reduce costs, and increase engine block production capacity.

After the main reports, group discussions were held on the general manager’s and division reports. Participants actively shared opinions and suggestions on production and operations, and exchanged ideas on 2026 work planning and implementation across departments and divisions.

After group discussions, a plenary session was held to vote on the reports and adopt the resolution of the Third Session of the Third Workers’ (Staff) Congress.
Finally, the commendation ceremony was held. Party Branch Deputy Secretary Wang Wenxing read out the decision on recognizing advanced teams and employees for 2025. Awards were presented to advanced teams, company-level model employees, and advanced production (work) staff. All employees were encouraged to take the advanced as role models, work diligently, fulfill duties, dedicate themselves to their posts, learn from and surpass advanced benchmarks, and strive to achieve the company’s annual goals.
