In order to adhere to the principle of "safety first, prevention foremost, and comprehensive governance", and with the aim of educating employees, enhancing their awareness of safe production, and improving their emergency response capabilities for safety accidents, in accordance with the annual safety production activity plan of Changniu Machinery, an emergency response plan drill for special equipment forklift collision accidents was organized and carried out on the afternoon of November 14th.
The emergency drill was led by the company's general manager as the chief commander. First, a pre-training mobilization was given to the participants, and the responsibilities of each emergency response team were clarified. It also elaborated in detail on how emergency rescue should be carried out in the event of a fire safety accident, as well as methods and approaches for environmental protection and casualty handling. The drill then officially began. According to the plan, it was simulated that a forklift in the production workshop accidentally hit and injured someone when it turned and encountered a blind spot during the transportation of goods due to improper handling. After the accident, the forklift driver reported it promptly. The company's leadership announced the immediate activation of the emergency response plan. The on-site emergency response teams quickly took their positions and performed their respective duties. Based on the condition and severity of the injured, they made corresponding emergency measures, directed the evacuation of irrelevant personnel at the scene, and the emergency rescue operation was immediately launched. The entire drill process was tense yet orderly. All employees felt the same way. Members of each emergency rescue team and all forklift drivers deeply realized the importance of safety first, prevention foremost, and comprehensive governance.
After the drill, the general manager of the company summarized the drill, emphasizing the importance of safety production. He required all employees to always keep safety awareness in mind and not let it go, earnestly implement the responsibility system for safety production of all staff, actively identify potential safety hazards around them in daily work, learn from one case to prevent others, and report and rectify them in a timely manner to ensure that the company's operation remains in a safe and stable development state.
By conducting emergency drills, the responsibilities and tasks of the members of the company's accident emergency rescue plan team can be further clarified, the emergency response mechanism can be improved, and the safety awareness of employees, as well as their ability to "take responsibility heavier than Mount Tai" and self-rescue and mutual rescue in the event of sudden accidents, can be enhanced. Thus, the emergency plan drills can be implemented in practice and the expected results can be achieved.
