Consolidate Strength and Build Harmony - Changniu Machinery Convenes the Third Trade Union (Workers') Representative Conference

On the afternoon of September 6, 2024, with the high attention and warm care of the Benniu Town Federation of Trade Unions and the company's party branch, after more than a month of intense preparation, the third trade union (employee) representative conference of Changniu Machinery was solemnly held, and a new trade union committee, fund review committee, and female employee committee were elected. The conference was presided over by Wang Wenxing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Chairman of the Trade Union. Company leaders and 51 representatives of the trade union (employees) attended the conference, and non representative assistant and above middle-level cadres attended as observers.

 

 

At the meeting, Sun Hao, the secretary of the company's party branch and general manager, delivered a speech on behalf of the company's party and government leadership team. Sun fully affirmed and recognized the achievements of the previous trade union, and hoped that the new trade union leadership team could unite and lead all trade union members and employees with a new spirit, new work style, and new work ideas, care for and support the business development of the enterprise with a sense of ownership, fully play the role of the trade union organization as a bridge and link in the enterprise, fully play the main force role of the working class in the enterprise, make greater contributions to promoting the sustainable and healthy development of Changniu Machinery, and achieve greater results.

 

 

Subsequently, Wang Wenxing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Chairman of the Trade Union, delivered a work report on behalf of the previous Trade Union Committee. Chairman Wang reviewed the work of the enterprise's trade union. Since the previous congress, under the correct leadership of the higher-level trade union and the company's party organization, he has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, conscientiously fulfilled the functions of the trade union, actively carried out trade union work, and taken it as his responsibility to promote enterprise harmony. He has organized trade union members and workers to actively participate in the construction of the three civilizations of the enterprise, vigorously promoted the spirit of ownership of the working class, enhanced the quality of workers, consolidated the consensus of workers, protected the rights and interests of workers, and made due contributions to the economic development.

According to the agenda of the conference, participants were divided into groups to discuss three reports (trade union work report, financial work report, and audit work report), the election method of the third trade union (employee) representative conference, the third trade union (employee) committee, the funding review committee, the list of recommended candidates for the female employee committee, the list of recommended candidates for the "Changniu Machinery Labor Dispute Mediation Committee", and the revised "Employee Handbook", which were passed by a vote of all representatives at the conference. According to the election method of the conference, the members of the "Three Committees" of the Third Changniu Machinery Trade Union were elected. The "Three Committees" held separate meetings, elected a new leadership team of the "Three Committees", and announced it to the conference.

 

 

 

 

Finally, the conference put forward new goals for the work of the new trade union. Faced with new situations and tasks, the tasks of trade union work in the future are arduous and the responsibilities are significant. We must take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as a guide, deeply study the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, seize opportunities, look to the future, unite and rely on the vast number of workers with a high sense of historical responsibility and mission, closely focus on the goals and tasks of this conference, further emancipate our minds, strive for innovation, and elevate the trade union work of Changniu Machinery to a new level, making greater contributions to the harmonious development of the company!
